Taxonomy
Lestodryinus mortuorum was named by Brues (1933). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Dryinus mortuorum by Olmi (1995), Olmi (2000), Olmi and Bechly (2001) and Olmi and Guglielmino (2012).
