Taxonomy
Permomerope ramosa was named by Sukacheva (1976). Its type specimen is PIN 2495/3, a wing (fore and hindwing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karaungir III, Kyuryul'tyu Ravine (PIN collection 2495), which is in a Changhsingian lacustrine mudstone in the Akkolka Formation of Kazakhstan.
