Dysmorphoptila liasina
Taxonomy
Belostomum liasinum was named by Giebel (1856). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Wainlode Cliff (Brodie collection), which is in a Rhaetian marine sandstone in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Dysmorphoptila.
It was recombined as Dysmorphoptila liasina by Handlirsch (1906), Evans (1956), Szwedo and Huang (2019).
