Muramura pinpensis

Taxonomy
Muramura pinpensis was named by Pledge (2003). Its type specimen is SAM P36160 (QMAM 54 = AMNH 102219), a partial skeleton (Partial skeleton, comprising a badly crushed partial skull (both maxillae, left premaxilla, left auditory region), partial left and complete right dentaries, &#), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is AMNH site B, which is in an Oligocene lacustrine claystone in the Namba Formation of Australia.
