Taxonomy
Ganguroo bilamina was named by Cooke (1997). Its type specimen is QM F19915, a mandible (left dentary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Wayne's Wok Site, which is in an Aquitanian/Burdigalian terrestrial limestone in Australia.
