Jiania gracila
Taxonomy
Jiania gracila was named by Wang and Szwedo (2012). Its type specimen is NIGP 154605, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
It was synonymized subjectively with Jiania crebra by Fu et al. (2018).
