Casaleia inversa

Taxonomy
Protamblyopone inversa was named by Dlussky (1981). Its type specimen is PIN 1295/3, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chon-Tuz, Kochkorskiy region (PIN collection 1295), which is in a Miocene/Miocene terrestrial siliciclastic in Kyrgyzstan. It is the type species of Protamblyopone, Casaleia.

It was recombined as Casaleia inversa by Pagliano and Scaramozzino (1990), Bolton (2012), Dlussky and Wedmann (2012).
