Taxonomy
Tubulifloridites was named by Potonie (1960) [Botanical affinity: Compositae]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type is Tubulifloridites antipodica.

It was assigned to Eudicots by Vera et al. (2022); and to Asteraceae by Potonie (1960), Vallati et al. (2020), Pérez Pincheira and Garrido (2024).
