Grimaldiraphidia purbeckensis
Taxonomy
Mesoraphidia purbeckensis was named by Jepson et al. (2009). Its type specimen is MNEMG 2007/47, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Durlston Bay, Bed DB175, Swanage (MNEMG collection), which is in a Berriasian lagoonal siliciclastic in the Durlston Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Grimaldiraphidia purbeckensis by Bechly and Wolf-Schwenninger (2011) and Lu et al. (2015).
