Taxonomy
Bradoponera electrina was named by Baroni Urbani (2003). Its type specimen is MRSN BB-6, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber (Wunderlich collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.
