Gesomyrmex germanicus

Taxonomy
Gesomyrmex germanicus was named by Dlussky et al. (2009). Its type specimen is NHMM PE-1997/29, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Eckfeld Maar (NHMN 1997 collection), which is in a MP 13 crater lake siltstone/shale in the Eifel Formation of Germany.
