Plagiolepis kuenowi

Taxonomy

Plagiolepis kunowi was named by Mayr (1868). Its type specimen is Konigsberg 3760/108, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was corrected as Plagiolepis kuenowi by Dlussky (2010).

Synonyms

Rhopalomyrmex pygmaeus was named by Mayr (1868). Its type specimen is Konigsberg 7576/290, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. It is the type species of Rhopalomyrmex.

It was replaced with Plagiolepis balticus by Dlussky (1997); it was synonymized subjectively with Plagiolepis kuenowi by Dlussky (2010).
