Pseudomyrmex antiquus
Taxonomy
Pseudomyrmex antiquus was named by Ward (1992). Its type specimen is Poinar H-10-147, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber, La Toca mine (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the La Toca Formation of the Dominican Republic.
