Taxonomy
Diacorixa germanica was named by Popov (1989). Its type specimen is SMNS 26498, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Randeck Maar (SMNS coll), which is in a MN 5 crater lake lime mudstone in the Randeck Maar Formation of Germany.
