Taxonomy

Corynoptera evenhuisi was named by Röschmann and Mohrig (1995). It is an inclusion in amber.

Synonyms

Sciara difficilis was named by Meunier (1904). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic amber, Konigsberg collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Corynoptera difficilis by Mohrig and Röschmann (1994); it was replaced with Corynoptera evenhuisi by Röschmann and Mohrig (1995).
