Taxonomy
Acantholyda ribesalbesensis was named by Peñalver and Arillo (2002). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is La Rinconada, Ribesalbes (Sixto Fernández collection), which is in a Miocene lacustrine - large shale in Spain.
