Atriculicoides sibiricus

Taxonomy
Atriculicoides sibiricus was named by Szadziewski (1996). Its type specimen is PIN 3311/417, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Taimyr amber, Yantardakh Hill (PIN collection 3311), which is in a Santonian terrestrial amber in the Kheta Formation of the Russian Federation.

It was recombined as Protoculicoides sibiricus by Szadziewski et al. (2016), Szadziewski (2018).
