Anchomomys frontanyensis
Taxonomy
Anchomomys frontanyensis was named by Marigó et al. (2011). Its type specimen is IPS8429, a set of teeth (upper M1-2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sant Jaume de Frontanyà-3C, which is in a Bartonian mire/swamp marl/coal in the Bellmunt Formation of Spain.
