Nievesia sossisensis
Taxonomy
Nievesia sossisensis was named by Marigó et al. (2013). Its type specimen is PS-57271, a maxilla (right maxillary fragment with M2 and M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sossis, which is in a Priabonian lacustrine claystone/sandstone in the Collegats Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Nievesia.
