Taxonomy
Cacopsylla beckeriae was named by Klimaszewski (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 254/986 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Vishnevaya Balka creek, outcrop 2 bed XI, Stavropol (PIN collection 254), which is in a Miocene lacustrine shale in the Karagan Formation of the Russian Federation.
