Miopieris talboti
Taxonomy
Miopieris talboti was named by Zeuner (1942). Its type specimen is BMNH Armbruster leg. 1928, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Randeck Maar (Armbruster collection), which is in a MN 5 crater lake lime mudstone in the Randeck Maar Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Miopieris.
