Taxonomy
Telenomus (Telenomus) tetragonus was named by Kononova (2013). Its type specimen is IZ NASU DU-153, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Rovno Amber, Vyrka locality (SIZC DU collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
