Contrerascynus borhyaenoides
Taxonomy
Simpsonia borhyaenoides was named by Contreras (1990). Its type specimen is PVSJ 128, a mandible (right mandible fragment), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada Ullum, which is in a Chasicoan terrestrial horizon in the Loma de Las Tapias Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Contrerascynus borhyaenoides by Mones (2014).
