Spathopria sayrevillensis
Taxonomy
Spathopria sayrevillensis was named by Engel et al. (2013). Its type specimen is AMNH NJ-145, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is White Oaks Pit (Old Crossman's Clay Pits), which is in a Turonian delta plain amber/lignite in the Raritan Formation of New Jersey. It is the type species of Spathopria.
