Sigaretta florissantella

Taxonomy
Corixa florissantella was named by Cockerell (1906). Its type specimen is UCM-1665F, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is First railroad cutting east of Florissant, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Sigaretta.

It was recombined as Sigaretta florissantella by Popov (1971), Nel and Paicheler (1993).
