Taxonomy
Hersiliana brevipes was named by Wunderlich (2004). Its type specimen is F808/CM/AR/HER/CJW and is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Madagascar copal (Wunderlich collection), which is in a Holocene terrestrial amber in Madagascar. It is the type species of Hersiliana.
