Prosyntexis gobiensis
Taxonomy
Trematothorax gobiensis was named by Rasnitsyn (1993). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/645, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559, outcrop 35), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia.
It was recombined as Prosyntexis gobiensis by Taeger et al. (2010) and Jattiot et al. (2011).
