Taxonomy
Platycorypha was named by Tuthill (1945). It is extant. It is the type genus of Platycoryphinae.
It was assigned to Psyllinae by Burckhardt and Ouvrard (2012); and to Platycoryphinae by Burckhardt et al. (2021).
