Taxonomy
Eopinoecus samogiticus was named by Budrys (1993). Its type specimen is Palanga Amber Museum Ap 3825, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Palanga Amber Museum Collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Lithuania.
