Abia shandongensis
Taxonomy
Procimbex shandongense was named by Hong and Wang (1985). Its type specimen is Beijing Museum of Natural History 80193, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 79/80 (Beijing Museum), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.
It was recombined as Clavellaria shandongensis by Zhang et al. (1994); it was recombined as Abia shandongensis by Blank et al. (2009), Taeger et al. (2010) and Archibald and Rasnitsyn (2023).
