Taxonomy

Tenthredo meunieri was named by Taeger et al. (2009).

Synonyms

Tenthredo fasciata was named by Meunier (1922). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Bauckhorn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large lignite in Germany.

It was replaced with Tenthredo meunieri by Blank et al. (2009), Taeger et al. (2010).
Tenthredo gracilis was named by Statz (1936). Its type specimen is LACMIP 4023, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Statz Collection), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - small shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.

It was replaced with Tenthredo meunieri by Blank et al. (2009), Taeger et al. (2010).
