Taxonomy
Mundopoides aptianus was named by Fennah (1987). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Jezzine (BMNH collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
It was recombined as Karebodopoides aptianus by Szwedo (2001), Szwedo et al. (2004), Luo et al. (2021).
