Taxonomy
Permoscytinopsis maueriaeformis was named by Zalessky (1939). It is an impression. Its type locality is Chekarda, Sylva River (Zalessky collection, Vernadsky State Museum), which is in a Kungurian deltaic siliciclastic in the Koshelevka Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Archescytina maueriaeformis by Becker-Migdisova (1960), Novokshonov (1998), Prokop et al. (2015); it was recombined as Permopsyllopsis maueriaeformis by Wachtler (2017).
