Trionolepidopteron admarginis
Taxonomy
Trionolepidopteron admarginis was named by Zhang et al. (2013). Its type specimen is CNU-LEP-NN2012012, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2012 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China. It is the type species of Trionolepidopteron.
