Agraulos regularis was named by Walcott (1906).

It was recombined as Latilorenzella regularis by Kobayashi (1959); it was recombined as Cyclolorenzella regularis by Lu et al. (1965); it was recombined as Jiulongshania regularis by Park et al. (2008).
