Taxonomy
Piscindusia complexa was named by Heads (2006). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is MIWG 7072, an other (caddis case), and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Atherfield, Isle of Wight, which is in an Aptian transition zone/lower shoreface sandstone in the Vectis Formation of the United Kingdom.
