Taxonomy
Mysidioides migdisovae was named by Emeljanov (2002). Its type specimen is PIN 254/239, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Vishnevaya Balka creek, Karagan, Stavropol (PIN collection 254), which is in a Miocene lacustrine shale in the Karagan Formation of the Russian Federation.
