Taxonomy
Delphax pulcher was named by Brodie (1845). It is an impression. Its type locality is Dinton, Vale of Wardour, Middle Purbeck, which is in a Berriasian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal horizon in the Lulworth Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Pseudodelphax pulcher by Handlirsch (1907); it was recombined as Cicadellium pulcher by Evans (1956).
