Symphytopterus liasinus
Taxonomy
Sippelipterus liasinus was named by Zessin (1985). Its type specimen is LS 18/2-I, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Schandelah, near Braunschweig (Zessin coll.), which is in a Toarcian offshore shale in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Symphytopterus liasinus by Rasnitsyn et al. (2003).
