Phylocentropus (Veteropsyche) gelhausi
Taxonomy
Veteropsyche gelhausi was named by Botosaneanu et al. (1998). Its type specimen is ANSP 79958, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is New Jersey amber, Parlin sand pit (ANSP collection), which is in a Turonian terrestrial amber in the Magothy Formation of New Jersey. It is the type species of Veteropsyche.
It was recombined as Phylocentropus (Veteropsyche) gelhausi by Wichard and Lüer (2003).
