Taxonomy
Mesoraphidia amoena was named by Ren (1997). Its type specimen is LB95113, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Beipiao City, unspecified locality (GMC Beijing coll), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.
