Cratotipula latialata

Taxonomy
Cratotipula latialata was named by Ribeiro and Martins-Neto (1999). Its type specimen is RGMN-024, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Crato, Pedra Branca Quarry (Martins-Neto collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Cratotipula.
