Taxonomy
Epidapus microspinus was named by Mohrig and Röschmann (2005). Its type specimen is Poinar D-A-Sci-25, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
