Gomphotherium shensiensis
Taxonomy
Gomphotherium shensiensis was named by Chang and Zhai (1978). Its type specimen is IVPP V3084 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shilihe River (locality 64008), Niujiakou, Lantian, Shaanxi, which is in the Serravallian of sandstone/mudstone the Lengshuigou Formation China.
