Taxonomy

Proeurotica was named by Becker-Migdisova (1985). Its type is Psylla exhumata.

It was synonymized subjectively with Paleopsylloides by Klimaszewski (1993).

It was assigned to Xenaphalarini by Becker-Migdisova (1985), Burckhardt and Ouvrard (2012); and to Paleopsylloidini by Ouvrard et al. (2013), Drohojowska (2019), Burckhardt et al. (2021).

Synonyms

Plesioaphalara was named by Klimaszewski (1993). Its type is Plesioaphalara arcana.

It was synonymized subjectively with Proeurotica by Ouvrard et al. (2013), Drohojowska (2019), Burckhardt et al. (2021).

It was assigned to Aphalarinae by Klimaszewski (1993); and to Psylloidea by Burckhardt and Ouvrard (2012).
