Taxonomy
Palaeontinodes minor was named by Becker-Migdisova and Wootton (1965). Its type specimen is PIN 459/94, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Sai-Sagul, Shurab III (PIN collection 459), which is in a Toarcian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Sagul Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
