Taxonomy
Helius similis was named by Kania (2014). Its type specimen is SNMG 3413, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (University of Gdansk MAI collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
