Pleophrynus hawesi
Taxonomy
Pleophrynus hawesi was named by Dunlop et al. (2014). Its type specimen is KUMIP 340491, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Kinney Clay Pit, Dunbarella bed (KU coll), which is in a Kasimovian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Astrasado Formation of New Mexico.
