Hodgsonicoccus patefactus

Taxonomy
Hodgsonicoccus patefactus was named by Vea and Grimaldi (2015). Its type specimen is AMNH LAE-93, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Bchare Mountain (AMNH collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon. It is the type species of Hodgsonicoccus.
