Taxonomy
Archiaustroconops annae was named by Choufani et al. (2015). Its type specimen is Azar 598, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Lebanese amber, Mdeyrij-Hammana (LU collection), which is in a Barremian terrestrial amber in Lebanon.
